Gabriel Trionfi

Gabriel Trionfi is a psychologist who escaped academics to join the design circus.

A design researcher and Human Factors Specialist at IDEO, Gabriel leads multidisciplinary design teams in the pursuit of insights to inspire innovative and actionable designs. Being apart of IDEO allows Gabe to explore all things designed for people with the best collaborators he could hope to find. Specifically he has been exploring the intersection of design, play and children via IDEO’s Kid & Play domain.

Gabriel earned a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Clark University. At Clark he studied human development, play, imagination, and imaginary companions. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts from Weber State University where he earned the title of the world’s largest chorus boy.

Gabe is traveling a long windy road that is bumpy at times, but the scenery is fascinating and the company couldn’t be better.
